Paying your Lesco bill through a credit card is possible, but it is not the most common method in Pakistan. The easiest way is to use the official LESCO website's "e-Pay" section.
Go to www.lesco.gov.pk.
Navigate to "Online Payment".
Choose "Debit/Credit Card".
Enter your Consumer ID.
Enter your card details and complete the payment.
Alternatively, you can use your credit card through third-party wallets like JazzCash or Easypaisa. Just add your credit card to the wallet and use it to pay your bill. However, always check the service fees charged by the app or bank.
You can get your previous Lesco bills online using the official LESCO portal.
Simply visit https://dub.lesco.gov.pk:36269/Modules/CustomerBillN/CustomerMenu.asp, enter your Consumer ID or Reference Number, and click "Check Bill". On the bill screen, you will see a "Bill History" dropdown. Select any month from the last 24 months, click "View", and the previous bill will be displayed. You can then download or print it.
If you need bills older than 24 months, you will need to visit your nearest LESCO sub-division office and request a history printout.
Unfortunately, LESCO does not allow you to check your bill by simply typing your name. Their system is designed to work only with your unique Consumer ID or Reference Number.
If you do not have your bill and do not know your Consumer ID, here are two ways to find it:
Check any previous paid bill receipt — the Consumer ID is always printed at the top-left corner.
Call the LESCO helpline at 0800-53726. Provide them with your name, address, and CNIC number, and they will help you retrieve your Consumer ID.
Once you have your Consumer ID, you can easily check your bill online.
To check whether your Lesco electricity bill has been paid or not, use the official LESCO portal.
Visit https://dub.lesco.gov.pk:36269/Modules/CustomerBillN/CustomerMenu.asp. Enter your Consumer ID or Reference Number. Once your bill opens, look for the payment status. If it says "Paid" or "Cleared", your bill is settled. If it says "Unpaid" or "Pending", your payment has not been received yet.
Please remember that if you paid through a bank, mobile app, or ATM, it can take up to 48 hours for the status to update on LESCO's system. If you paid more than 48 hours ago and the status still shows unpaid, contact LESCO helpline at 0800-53726.
You can check your Lesco bill in three simple ways:
Online: Visit the official LESCO bill check page at dub.lesco.gov.pk, enter your Consumer ID or Reference Number, and click "Check Bill".
Through Mobile Apps: You can also check your bill amount through JazzCash, Easypaisa, or your bank app. When you enter your Consumer ID for payment, the app will show you the current bill amount before you pay.
Through SMS: LESCO also offers an SMS service. Send your Consumer ID to 8333, and you will receive your bill details via text message (standard SMS charges apply).
For the most detailed view, including meter reading and due date, the official LESCO portal is the best option.
The Consumer Number on a Lesco bill is also called the Consumer ID. It is a unique identification number assigned by LESCO to every electricity consumer in their service area.
This number is used to identify your specific account. You need this number to:
Check your bill online
Pay your bill through banks, apps, or ATMs
Get a duplicate bill
Contact LESCO customer support regarding your account
If you have an HBL account, paying your Lesco bill online is very convenient. Here is how:
Via HBL Internet Banking:
Log in to the HBL internet banking portal at www.hbl.com.
Go to the "Bill Payment" or "Utility Bills" section.
Select "LESCO" from the dropdown list.
Enter your 14-digit Reference Number or Consumer ID.
The system will fetch your bill amount.
Confirm the payment.
Via HBL App (HBL Mobile):
Open the HBL Mobile app.
Tap on "Bill Payment".
Select "LESCO".
Enter your Reference Number or Consumer ID.
Enter your transaction PIN and confirm.
Adding your Lesco bill in the UBL (United Bank Limited) app is very easy. Follow these steps:
Open the UBL Digital App on your phone.
Log in using your UBL account credentials.
Go to the "Bill Payment" section from the main menu.
Select "Add New Bill" or "Register Bill".
Select "Utility Bills" and choose "LESCO" from the list of utility companies.
Enter your 14-digit Reference Number or Consumer ID.
Click "Save" or "Register".
Once registered, your Lesco bill will appear automatically in the app every month. You can pay it with just one click.
LESCO does not officially offer an "installment plan" for residential or commercial electricity bills. However, in case of extreme hardship, you can contact LESCO's customer service or visit your nearest sub-division office to request a payment extension.
