Since 2017, QatarEnergy has linked local fuel prices to international market prices and published a new price list every month. When global petrol prices rise, Qatar’s pump prices usually rise the next month, and the reverse is true when they fall. Prices still stay low by world standards because Qatar is a major energy producer.
